Hands-on workshops are a vital component of Studio Gance Han Design Research's methodology. In any material-centric design research—whether exploring indigenous wool, natural ash glazes, metals, wood, or fiber dyeing techniques, the studio elucidates the research journey by hosting workshops open to the public.

Through embodied experiences such as tactile engagement, learning production processes, and sharing the research narrative, the studio lead the public toward a profound understanding of the materials themselves.
